LLAA Community Support Annual 5K-ish Run/Walk

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

The Lake Lucerne Advancement Association Community Support Committee’s Third Annual 5K-ish Run/Walk will be on Saturday, July 26, 2025.

❤️ Charity Details

• Charity Beneficiary: Crandon Area Rescue, a non-profit squad serving approximately 435 square miles.
• Coverage Area: Includes Argonne, Crandon, Hiles, Lincoln, Nashville townships, and the City of Crandon.
• Response Resources: Equipped with four ambulances and around 20 active responders.
• Emergency Services: They provide essential emergency care when needed.

💰 Registration Fee

• No Registration Fee: Participants are encouraged to make a donation.
• Suggested Donation: $35 requested per racer.
• Flexible Donations: You are welcome to donate a different amount if preferred.

📈 Impact of the Race

• Total Funds Raised: Over $10,500 in direct donations from the race over the past three years.
• Additional Contributions: Community and individual contributions have added more than $5,000 in extra donations.
• Collective Impact: Together, we have made a significant impact on Crandon Area Rescue!
• Gratitude: A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us this year—or contributed despite not being able to attend.

👥 Race Participation

• Participant Count: This year’s event featured over 90 racers.
• Volunteer Support: 18 volunteers assisted with planning and operations.
• Sponsor Contributions: Eight generous sponsors provided funds, products, and services.
• Key Sponsors: Forest County Potawatomi, Schaefers IGA, Living Local Realty, LLC, Tamarack Outfitters, Water’s Edge Lodge, Whisky Nicks, Creative Embroidery, and Knottlane.com.
