🎉 Race Overview

IT'S BACK! The annual "WANGO TANGO" endurance race, a loud and rowdy 4-hour ENDURANCE mountain bike race/trail run on the City Lake trail system in Siloam Springs Arkansas!

🏃‍♂️ Event Details

You read that right, this year the Wango Tango will again include a 5k and 10k trail run on the hidden gem of the Siloam City Lake trails set to take place before the start of the 4-hour mountain bike endurance race.

In a partnership with Siloam Springs Parks & Recreation, the Borderline Ozark Off-Road Cyclists are excited to again bring mountain bike racing and trail running to western Benton County!

🚵‍♀️ Mountain Bike Race

• Format: 4-hours of solo and team relay mountain bike racing
• Start Time: 3 PM
• Timing: This will be an electronically timed race
• Light Requirement: All mountain bike competitors must have at least one light source to compete

🏅 Award Categories

Mountain Bike Award Categories include:

• Solo Male
• Solo Female
• 4 Person Co-Ed
• E-Bike solo male and female

Trail Run Award Categories will include:

• Top male and female overall finishers
• Awards for top age category finishers

💵 Registration Information

Registration for the mountain bike endurance race is ONLY $50/racer (Juniors are just $30), $40 for the 10k trail run, and $30 for the 5k trail run. There WILL NOT BE on-site registration on the day of the event this year.

🍔 Event Amenities

• Food: There will be food from the grill, snacks, and water during the event for all participants.
• Trophies: Trophies will be awarded 3 deep in every category.
• Age Requirement: All competitors must be 13 or older by December 31st, 2025.
• Helmets: Helmets are required for the mountain bike race.

🅿️ Parking Information

Only volunteers will be allowed to park at the trailhead/pit area. All participants must park in designated parking areas and either ride to the trailhead/pit area or drop off their equipment before parking. Bike racks will be provided in the pit.

💬 Additional Information

The Wango Tango is unsanctioned, and all participants must sign a waiver. Under 18 must have a parent or guardian’s signature to compete. Proceeds from the event benefit the Borderline chapter of the Ozark Off-Road Cyclists and volunteer trail advocacy in Western Benton and Washington Counties.

📍 Directions

City Lake is located just north of Siloam Springs, Arkansas. From downtown, head north on Mt. Olive Street and then turn right onto Dawn Hill Road. Follow signs for parking.
