🏁 Race Overview

Event Type: The annual "WANGO TANGO" endurance race, a loud and rowdy 4-hour ENDURANCE mountain bike race/trail run on the City Lake trail system in Siloam Springs Arkansas!
Date: Set to take place on Saturday, November 15th, 2025!
Partnership: In a partnership with Siloam Springs Parks & Recreation, the event features mountain bike racing and trail running.
Trail Details: A 5k and 10k trail run will precede the 4-hour mountain bike endurance race, showcasing the hidden gem of the Siloam City Lake trails.

Race Format: 4-hours of solo and team relay mountain bike racing as well as trail running.
Trail Start Time: The trail run will start at 11 AM, ensuring all runners are off the trails before the mountain bike race.
Mountain Bike Challenge: The endurance race starts at 3 PM, with competitors racing in the dark as the sun sets.
Timing: This will be an electronically timed race.

Mountain Bike Awards: Categories include Solo Male, Solo Female, 4 Man/Woman Relay, E-Bike categories, and more.
Trail Run Awards: Top overall male and female finishers, plus top age category finishers.
Trophies: Trophies will be awarded 3 deep in every category.
Requirements: All competitors must be 13 or older by December 31st, 2025.

Pricing: Registration for the mountain bike endurance race is ONLY $50/racer (Juniors are just $30), $40 for the 10k trail run, and $30 for the 5k trail run.
No On-site Registration: There WILL NOT BE on-site registration on the day of the event this year.
Included Amenities: Food from the grill, snacks, and water during the event for all participants.
Parking: Only volunteers will park at the trailhead/pit area, all participants must park in designated areas.

Helmet Requirement: Helmets are required for the mountain bike race, and all competitors must have at least one light source.
Waiver Requirement: All participants must sign a waiver: under 18 must have a parent or guardian's signature to compete.
Event Status: The Wango Tango is unsanctioned.
Proceeds: Benefit the Borderline chapter of the Ozark Off-Road Cyclists and volunteer trail advocacy in Western Benton and Washington Counties.

Venue: City Lake located just north of Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
Directions: From downtown, head north on Mt. Olive Street and then turn right onto Dawn Hill Road.
Parking Instructions: Follow signs for parking and note that bike racks will be provided in the pit.
