Fast Pace Race 5k/10k/1 Mile

JOIN US for the 17th annual FAST Pace Race 5K/10K/1K.

ABOUT OUR CAUSE:

• Prostate Cancer: Prostate cancer is the most common major cancer in American men today.
• Statistics: One in six men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime.
• Event Date: This event takes place on Saturday, October 25, 2025.
• Organizers: Hosted by Forsyth Area Striders Team (F.A.S.T.) and the Prostate Condition Education Council (PCEC).

EVENT DETAILS AND SCHEDULE

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

• Starting Point: Renowned for our half-mile downhill start and finish on both 5k and 10k courses.
• Course Design: Designed by runners, for runners with chip-timed, point-to-point runs.
• Elevation: Overall elevation drop to the finish line ensures memorable PRs.
• Qualifying Times: Exciting downhill finishes expected to boast many Peachtree Road Race qualifying times for 2025.

T-SHIRTS:

• Availability: Advanced technical fiber t-shirts available for early registrations in men's or women's fitted cut.
• Guarantee: Participants registered by October 15th will be guaranteed a race t-shirt.
• Post October 15: Registrants after this date may not be guaranteed a t-shirt but will try to accommodate.
• Fit: Women's fitted shirt is on the small side, consider sizing up for a looser fit.

COST:

• 5K Pricing: $25 until 9/29 @ 11:59pm, then $28 until 10/13, $30 through race day.
• 10K Pricing: $25 until 9/29 @ 11:59pm, then $28 until 10/13 @ 11:59pm, $30 through race day.
• Team Discount: Teams of 4 or more receive a $3.00 discount per team member at checkout.

PARKING:

• Location: Parking available in Cumming Fair Grounds Gate B or Lot 1.
• Pre-race Area: The Covered Arena in the fairgrounds will serve as the pre-race area.
• Facilities: Restrooms attached to the arena available for use on race day.

PACKET PICKUP:

• Early Pickup: Friday, October 24 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm in the Arena Barn.
• Race Day Pickup: Saturday, October 25 at 6:30am to 7:45am.

START LINE TRANSPORTATION:

• Distance: Start line is approximately one mile from the fairgrounds.
• Bus Service: Buses will transport runners/walkers to the starting line from 7:00 am - 7:45 am.
• Walking Option: Participants may opt to walk/run to the start via sidewalks.

ARENA BARN POST RACE:

• Finish Line: 10k and 5k races finish in front of the Cumming Fairgrounds.
• Post-race Amenities: Food, beverages, and restrooms available just over the covered castleberry footbridge.
• Awards: Overall Male/Female, Masters Male/Female, and Age Group awards for top 3 finishers.
• Finisher Medals: All finishers will receive finishing medals.

• Series Start: The PACE series began in 2002, featuring a team of celebrity runners.
• Reach: The race series has reached millions of men across the country.

DIRECTIONS from EXIT 14 GA400 to Fairgrounds:

• Starting Point: From Buford Hwy/GA-20 W at GA-400 Exit 14, head northwest toward Atlanta Rd.
• Route: Follow instructions to reach Cumming Fairgrounds, approximately 2.2 mi total from 400.

ARRIVE ON TIME & be prepared to set a PR:

• Shuttle Service: Buses to the start line begin boarding at 7:00 am and end at 7:45 am.
• Race Start: 5k and 10k begin promptly at 8:00 am.
• Walking Routes: Maps will show multiple options to the start line.

BAG CHECK:

• Service Offered: Bag check provided at the start line for warm-up clothing and jackets.
• Transportation: Bags will be transported back to the Arena Barn at the fairgrounds.
