Domino's Run for Govs 5K

• Location: High on a windy hill, overlooking the confluence of the Red and Cumberland rivers, stands Emerald Hill.
• Significance: Home of Austin Peay State University National Alumni Association and the start and finish for the Run for Govs 5K and Valerie Hunter-Kelly Run/Walk For the Govs.
• Historic Site: Listed in the National Register of Historic Sites, this mansion has a rich history.
• Purpose: Whether you run or walk, your participation will benefit student scholarships and funds that enhance the Austin Peay experience.

Valerie Hunter-Kelly Run/Walk For the Govs 1K

• Honoree: Named in honor of Run For Govs 5K Committee member, Valerie Hunter-Kelly.
• Legacy: Valerie was an avid runner and completed a half-marathon in all fifty states, finishing this goal in January 2020.
• Memory: She crossed her final finish line on Saturday, November 7, 2020, surrounded by her supportive family.
• Scholarship Fund: Proceeds will benefit the Valerie Hunter-Kelly (HHP) Scholarship, which supports students in professional development endeavors.
