🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Running Towards Tomorrow is more than just a race—it’s a movement to honor those we’ve lost to suicide and mental health struggles. It serves as a tribute and a call to action, raising awareness about a growing crisis that affects individuals, families, and communities across the nation.

🕊️ In Memory of Brad Paul

This event was created in memory of John Bradford Paul, lovingly known as Brad Paul—a devoted father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Brad was a lifelong runner and a passionate supporter of others.

• Background: Born into a Navy family, he moved frequently throughout his early years and eventually called Forsyth County home for nearly two decades.
• Community Impact: He helped establish Ananchel Photography, serving the community as a local business owner for 15 years.
• Teaching Career: Later, Brad moved to Tampa, Florida, where he found a new calling as a teacher for children with special needs and as a track coach.
• Alma Mater: A proud alumnus of Colgate University, he carried his love for running throughout his life.

🏅 Race Purpose

Running Towards Tomorrow represents the resilience Brad showed and the message we hope to share: There is always a reason to keep going. Each step forward is a reminder that no one is alone, and that tomorrow holds hope.

Join us as we run in memory, in solidarity, and in support of mental health awareness. Together, we can break the silence, remove the stigma, and keep moving toward a future where everyone feels seen, supported, and valued.

💵 Race Benefactor

One hundred percent of the donations made through this website will go directly to The Lou Ruspi Jr. Foundation (LRJ), a private, non-profit organization whose mission is to improve mental wellness and suicide prevention through interactive educational programming to school districts and the community. 📍 Packet Pick-up

Big Peach Running Co - Cumming
Friday, August 22nd from 12 PM to 5 PM
Race morning at the race location under the Big Peach Running Co. tent starting at 7:15 AM.

Virtual Packets will be mailed after August 25th if not picked up during packet pick-up. Any race packets for in-person runners that are not picked up during packet pickup or on race day will be donated.

Please note that we will not be exchanging t-shirt sizes at packet pickup. If we have extras after the race, you can visit the packet pickup tent following the race to see if another size is available.

📝 Race Registration

Registration will be available (if not sold out) through race morning online. Please be prepared to log in to your RunSignUp account in order to register on-site on Race Day.
