Roll & Stroll for Independence is an inclusive, peer-to-peer fundraising 5K walk/roll/run held during the first ever Disability Pride Festival on Saturday, August 2, 2025 put on by Midstate Independent Living Choices' (MILC) at Lake Pacawa Park in Plover, WI.
Funds raised support MILC's mission to empower individuals with disabilities to live independently and thrive in their communities. We are celebrating 25 years of Midstate Independent Living Choices and 35 years since the signing of the Americans with Disability Act (ADA) - landmark law advancing civil rights and accessibility for people with disabilities.
The one-of-a-kind event invites participants of all abilities to run, walk, roll & stroll around scenic Lake Pacawa in support of disability rights, culture, and community inclusion. We're proud to partner with myTEAM TRIUMPH who will be on-site with specialized adaptive equipment to ensure everyone can participate in the walk! The walk kicks off the Disability Pride Festival.
