Leesburg Glow Run

Event Overview

The 12th Annual Leesburg Glow Run

Purpose

• Support: Come out and support the Fairfield Cross Country Teams!
• Equipment: This race is so important to our Cross Country teams: it helps with any equipment we need.
• Past Achievements: Last year, we were able to purchase new pop up tents with our school logo and team name on them to take to meets.
• Future Plans: This race will also help us plan a Trip/Race with the High School CC Teams.

Activities and Festivities

• Proceeds: All proceeds go to the Fairfield Lions Middle and High School Cross Country Teams.
• Glow Night: There will be glow paint, glow sticks, necklaces, a DJ, and lots of fun during the Leesburg Festival.
• Date: Event takes place on Friday, August 10th.
• Race Formats: The event includes a kiddie dash, a 1-mile run/walk, and a 5k run.

Event Schedule

• Kiddie Dash: Will be at 9 PM. All Kids under 8 can participate for free, includes glow paint, glow sticks, and a medal.
• 1 Mile Run/Walk: Starts at 9:30 PM: pre-registration of $15 gets you a T-shirt and a glow stick, or you can register on the day of.
• 5k Run: Starts at 10 PM: $30 pre-registration includes a T-shirt and a glow stick.
