🏞️ Race Overview

Welcome to the Diablo del Desperado Trail Race, where the terrain is rugged, the temps are high, and the payoff is big. Held at the private Desperado Resort just outside of Boerne, TX, this is a trail running experience built for those who don’t back down from a challenge.

🏃‍♂️ Course Options

• Distance Options: 30K, 10K, and 5K
• Terrain: Rocky canyon paths, steep climbs, and gritty singletrack
• Exposure: Expect plenty of classic late-September Texas heat—hot, humid, and relentless
• Scenic View: Wind deep into the heart of Texas Hill Country

💧 Aid Stations

But we’ve got your back: fully stocked aid stations will be placed throughout the course, offering cold water, electrolytes, fuel, first aid, and the support you need to battle the heat and keep moving forward.

🏁 Post-Race Celebration

Cross the finish line and you’re not done yet—take a jump into the Guadalupe River, just steps away from the finish, to cool down and celebrate your effort.

Every participant receives a finisher’s medal and a race shirt, because if you conquer the Diablo del Desperado Trail Race, you’ve earned it.

👥 Spectator Information

Spectators are welcome but must purchase a "Buddy Pass" for $10 before arriving, as Desperado Resort is private property.
