And so it starts - The Southeast Slosh!

📅 Date and Location

• Date: Saturday, July 19th, 2025
• Location: Ward Lake Nature Trailhead, Ketchikan, AK

🏞️ Race Details

• Course: The race will start and finish at Ward Lake and incorporate surrounding trails including Perseverance Lake Trail, Ward Creek Trail, Pipeline, and Salvage.
• Aide Stations: There will be 4 aide stations along the route.
• Time Limit: All racers will have 5 hours to finish the race.
• Post Cut-off: After the cut-off time, racers can finish the course, however aide station support and finish line celebration cannot be guaranteed.

💲 Registration Fees

• Cost: $50 (+ processing fee)
• Ketchikan Running Club Members: $40
• Team Registration: Individual runners, as well as relay teams (up to 4 runners in a team), are welcome to register.
• Relay Teams: Each team is responsible for determining where they will start and finish each leg of the relay.

📦 Bib Pick-up

• Location: Ketchikan Rec Center
• Date: Friday, July 18th
• Time: 3-7 PM

📜 Special Permit

Ketchikan Running Club has been granted a Special Use Permit through the Tongass National Forest Service to make this race possible.
