"Truck"tober Fest 5k and Beer Mile

🏃 Race Description

Celebrate Octoberfest uniquely at the Big Truck Farm Brewery in Parkton, MD with the "Truck"tober Fest 5k and Beer Mile. For lovers of challenging runs and craft beers, this event combines a scenic yet demanding trail run followed by an exhilarating beer mile race. Experience the changing leaves and autumnal beauty as you traverse through woods and fields on a farm with plenty of elevation and exceptional views!

🛤️ Distances

• 5k Trail Run: A loop through fields, woods, and a hop yard with significant elevation.
• Beer Mile: Four laps of a .25 mile, totaling 1 mile. Each lap starts with drinking a 12 oz beer provided by Big Truck Farm Brewery.

⏰ Schedule

• 5k Start: 11:00 AM
• Beer Pouring: Starts at 12:00 PM post-5k.
• Beer Mile Waves: Start from 12:40 PM to 4:40 PM, in waves of 12 participants every 20 minutes.

🎽 Gear and Entry Details

• Shirt: All registrants receive a race shirt.
• Beer Token: Provided to participants 21 or older.
• ID Requirement: Must show a valid ID to participate in the Beer Mile for age verification.
• Designated Driver: Highly recommended for Beer Mile participants.
