Lace up your shoes and join us for the 48th Annual Empty Saddle 5k & 1 Mile Run — a fun family friendly race during the legendary XIT Rodeo in Dalhart, Texas.

All proceeds benefit the Dallam Hartley Counties Healthcare Foundation.

• Date: August 9th, 2025
• Location: The race starts at the Pavilion, 36.04149° N, 102.51233° W

⏰ Race Times

• Packet Pickup: at Brickstreet Community Center from 5PM to 6:30PM on Friday, August 8th
• Registration Desk: opens at 6:30 AM
• 1 Mile Race: begins at 7:00 AM
• 5K Race: follows at 7:30 AM

📝 Registration

• Cost: $35 for a single race, $45 for entering both
• Registration: online only, see the QR Code listed above
• Packet Pickup: at 6:30 A.M. on race day
• Entry Includes: bib, water stations, and runner’s bag.
