EVENT OPTIONS

• Variety: 18 Events in total including 6 Olympic distance events (Triathlon, RunBikeRun, SwimBike, SwimRun, 1640 Yard Swim & 10K Run).
• Sprint Events: 6 Sprint distance events (Triathlon, RunBikeRun, SwimBike, SwimRun, 400 yard Swim & 5K Run).
• Youth Opportunities: 6 Youth Sprint distance events (Triathlon, RunBikeRun, SwimBike, SwimRun, 400 yard Swim & 5K Run).
• Triathlon Format: Swim + Bike + Run with varying bike distances.

CASTAIC LAKE

• Location: Scenic Castaic Lake, 20 miles north of Los Angeles.
• Recreation: An 11,200-acre multi-use facility offering boating, fishing, hiking, and more.
• Paradise Cove: A staging area perfect for summer cooling off in high 60s temperatures.
• Camping: "Tri-cation" Friday night camping available through Castaic Lake.

THE COURSE

• Swim Course: Modified V shape with 8 lifeguards on paddleboards.
• Bike Course: Routes on back roads to minimize car interaction, with U-turns to be aware of.
• Run Trails: Primarily on rolling trails overlooking Castaic Lake.
• Safety: Athletes encouraged to slow down at turnaround points during the bike segment.
