🏞️ Castaic Lake
- Location: The 35th annual Castaic Lake Triathlon takes place at scenic Castaic Lake just 20 miles north of Los Angeles.
- Recreation Area: An 11,200-acre multi-use facility with two lakes, boating, world-class fishing, hiking, and more.
- Weather: August is a great time to enjoy the water in the high 60s, with a staging area aptly named Paradise Cove.
- Camping: "Tri-cation" Friday night camping available through Castaic Lake.
🏁 The Course
- Swim Course: A modified V shape in Paradise Cove at Castaic Lake, monitored by 8 lifeguards on paddleboards.
- Bike Course: Utilizes back roads to limit interaction with cars, including U-turns for safety.
- Run Course: Primarily on the rolling trails overlooking Castaic Lake.
- Beneficiary: All proceeds will benefit the Canyon High School Cross Country and Track Teams.
- Support: We have been supporting our programs for 33 years.
- Community: A welcoming atmosphere for new triathletes of all ages.
- Experience: Offering an enjoyable experience for triathletes of all experience levels.

- June Mornings: Often cooler in the morning with early fog.
- Afternoon Highs: Typically reaching the mid 80s.
- Event Temperature: Possible around 60 degrees.
