The 7th Annual Hermosa Beach 2 Mile Sand Run

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Join us for the The 7th Annual Beach Run aka the “Sandy Sauté”! A Legendary Hermosa Beach favorite. Whether you meet us at the Pier, or run virtually wherever you live, you’ll feel the vibe and the spirit of our community.

📏 Course Details

• Distance: 2 miles
• Location: Beach just north of the Hermosa Beach Pier
• Course Layout: Heads north in the sand for 1 mile out, loops back to the finish line

🕑 Event Schedule

• Start Time: 2:00pm
• Post-Race: Join us for happy hour at one of the restaurants on the pier!

🎭 Costume Contest

• Dress Up: Ditch your regular race gear and wear something festive!
• Philosophy: No one races in pants (until yoga pants were invented).
• Prizes: Top 3 male and female finishers will receive a prize package from several favorite retailers.
• Spirit Wear: Fun running outfits encouraged, with additional prizes for creativity!

As always, all proceeds go to support the families impacted by Pancreatic Cancer.

• Shirt Registration: Add the race shirt item when you register.
• Quality: Our shirts are promised to be in your weekly rotation.
• Availability: Limited sizes and quantity for purchase on Race day.

We are hoping for a perfect day, and maybe even getting into the water after the beach run!
