Go Gray for Oaklee is excited to announce our first annual 5K and color run! Please join us at our family friendly event!

All proceeds will go towards Oaklee and her family to cover medical expenses, travel for treatment and giving Oaklee the comfort and care she deserves.

🌟 About Oaklee and Her Journey

• Diagnosis: At just 11 months old, sweet Oaklee was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor.
• Strength: Now 4 years old, Oaklee is a bright, funny, and fearless little girl who continues to face every challenge with unimaginable strength.
• Experiences: In her short life, she has already endured brain surgeries, countless hospital stays, 48 rounds of chemotherapy and 18 months of RNA inhibitors.
• Spirit: Despite everything she’s been through, Oaklee’s spirit remains unshaken. She lights up every room with her smile and continues to inspire everyone around her.

🏅 5K Run/Walk

• Start Time: 5K race begins at 7:30 AM.
• Entry Fee: $40 entry, race day entry $45.
• Inclusions: Your 5K race entry will include a race t-shirt guaranteed for online registration only until August 30th, 2025.
• Activities: Included with your 5K race entry is access to the entire benefit including a black pot cook-off, silent auction, raffle, split the pot, sweet shop, bounce houses, face painting and more!

Race day registration begins at 6:30 AM at the Iowa Park located near the pavilion, 115 N Thompson Ave., Iowa, LA 70647. Packet pick-up will be at Southern Bicycle, 615 E Prien Lake Rd, Lake Charles, LA 70601, on September 19th from 12PM until 5PM.

🎨 1K Color Fun Run/Walk

• Start Time: 1K Color Run begins at 9:00 AM.
• Entry Fee: $10 entry for the color run: Ages 3 and under will be FREE.
• Attire: T-Shirts are not included, wear white!
• Awards: Awards will be given to top 3 runners in each age division, with custom hats and baked goods awarded. No award will be given for the Color Run.

📅 Important Dates

• 5K Race Starts: 7:30 AM.
• 1K Color Run Starts: 9:00 AM.
• Race Day Registration: $45.
