🏃‍♂️ About SHAY 5K Run/Walk

Spreading Help Around You is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that was founded in 2014 in honor of Shaylyn Anela Pinoliar, who tragically passed away on November 14, 2012. Our mission is to help and support families who have lost a loved one, educate them on the importance of being prepared during such a time of loss, and provide active service to the community. As well as promote Pedestrian Safety Awareness. This year we proudly launched the SHAY Scholarship Program, making an exciting new chapter in our commitment to supporting education and empowering future leaders.

Each year, since Shaylyn’s passing, family, friends, and community members gather to honor her memory with an Annual 5k Run/Walk on Thanksgiving morning. Last year, we changed the event to be held on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. It was a great success, and we look forward to continuing the tradition this year to honor her memory.

Run or Walk a 5K and receive an Event Shirt and a Custom Finisher's Medal.

• 8:00am: Late Packet Pickup/Registration
• 8:45am: Largest Group Contest
• 9:00am: 5k Start Time
• 10:30am: 5k Awards
• 11:00am: Raffle Winners

All Participants Receive:

• Event T-Shirt: Each participant will receive a t-shirt.
• Custom Finisher's Medallion: Unique medal for all finishers.
• Race Bib: Bib numbers will be dynamically assigned.
• Age Group Awards: Awards for top performers in each age group.
