Event Overview
This event is a fundraiser for Chingonas on the Run and an opportunity to bring our community together through running and camping.
Chingonas on the Run: Camp & Loop
Where miles, mountains, and mujeres meet.
- Celebration: Join us for a weekend that’s more than just miles — it’s a celebration of grit, comunidad, and campfire connections.
- Date: On Saturday, September 27th, you’ll take on a 6-hour challenge.
- Distance: Complete as many loops as your legs (and ganas) can handle — each loop is 4.16 miles.
- Location: Winding through sweet single track trails in the heart of the Angeles National Forest, summiting Mount Hillyer.
The Flow
- Friday, September 26th: Camp check-in opens 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM (with late check-in from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM).
- Saturday, September 27th: The loop begins at 6:30 AM, chasing sunrise up Mount Hillyer.
- Celebration: Gather for a hearty dinner, sharing stories and soaking up Chingona magic.
- Sunday, September 28th: Morning grab-and-go breakfast and an option to join morning meditation.
What’s Included
- Trail Aid: Aid station at the start/finish of each 4.16-mile loop stocked with snacks and hydration.
- Food & Fuel: Grab-and-go breakfast Saturday & Sunday and a hearty post-run dinner.
- Finish Line Love: A finisher’s medal and a special keepsake to remember your miles.
- Post-Run Celebration: Activities like storytelling and community gathering under the pines.
