3rd Annual Paint the Downtown 5K

🎨 Race Overview

Back again for 2025, the Paint the Downtown FunRun is one of the few 5k's (if not the only one) in the whole county.

• Organizer: The race is organized by the Broadway Brew Coffeehouse just like last year.
• Route: It features the same 5k route, so if you enjoyed last years event be sure to come back!
• Community Focus: This race is about cultivating a love for running and benefiting the community.
• Goals: Paint the Downtown is a fun and exciting event that makes our downtown better through raising money for improvements (such as paint!).

🏃‍♀️ New Options

This year's event features two new options:

• 1 Mile Run/Walk: If you aren’t keen on running 5km, you can take advantage of a shorter route and still be a part of the event! Invite your friends and bring the whole family.
• Virtual Race Option: If you can't make the race or aren't interested in running but still want a shirt, try out the new virtual option. You can always submit your 5k time from wherever you ran!

👕 Shirts and Registration

Every participant that signs up before September 26th for either the 5k, 1 mile, or virtual option will get the 2025 Paint the Downtown t-shirt. You won’t be guaranteed a shirt if you sign up after that date, but you can definitely still run in the race.

⏰ Race Day Details

The 5k starts at 8:00 A.M. and the 1 mile immediately after at the Broadway Brew, 108 E 7th St., Plainview, TX.

• Packet Pickup: Packet pickup is at the Brew from 5-7 P.M. on October 10th, the evening before the race.
• Location: Broadway Brew, 108 E 7th, Plainview, TX.
