🏅 Race Overview

The 13th annual Grin & Bear It 5K | 10K | 1/2 Mile Kids Run & NEW! 1/2 Marathon will take place on October 18th at Poverty Point Reservoir in Delhi, Louisiana. We are excited to welcome our community back to the Grin & Bear It Race! Come enjoy this beautiful scenic run.

💖 Project Pink

Project Pink is the Delhi Hospital & Clinics program that provides No Cost Mammograms & Breast Cancer Screenings to patients who are uninsured. Without assistance, a 3D Mammogram can cost upwards of $500.00, and leaves many individuals unable to receive this life-saving screening. We believe strongly in accessible breast cancer screenings & hope that you will join us, because Early Detection Saves Lives.

🏃 Distances

• Distances: 5K, 10K, 1/2 Marathon, and ½ Mile Kid’s Fun Run.
• Start Chip Timing: All distances will have a Start Chip time and a Finish Chip time only. There are no split times on the course.

🕖 Race Schedule

• 6:30 AM: Race Day Registration & Packet Pickup
• 7:45 AM: ½ Mile Kid’s Fun Run
• 8:00 AM: 1/2 Marathon Start Time
• 8:15 AM: 10K Start Time
• 8:30 AM: 5K Start Time

🎉 Post-Race Party

Be sure to stay after the race for refreshments, music & awards presentation!

💵 Registration Fees

• ½ Mile Kids Fun Run: All kids 10 & under run free for the 1/2 mile fun run! (t-shirt not included)
• 5K & 10K: $25 Registration fee
• 1/2 Marathon: $35 Registration fee

🛍️ Extra T-shirts

Adult t-shirts are $20 and kid's t-shirts are $15. Orders must be placed by October 3rd.

📦 Packet Pickup

Packet pick-up on Thursday, October 16th from Noon - 4:00 PM & Friday, October 17th from Noon - 4:00 PM in the Delhi Hospital Classroom & at the race site on Saturday, October 18th beginning at 6:30 AM.

👶 Age Groups

5K, 10K, & 1/2 Marathon: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65+

🏆 Awards

$100 Visa Gift Card for top runners:

• 5K Overall Female
• 5K Overall Male
• 10K Overall Female
• 10K Overall Male
• 1/2 Marathon Overall Female
• 1/2 Marathon Overall Male

🏅 Medals

1st, 2nd & 3rd place runners in each age group, Male & Female, 5K, 10K, & 1/2 Marathon will receive a medal. All of the kiddos in the Kids Fun Run will also receive a medal as they cross the finish line!
