Event Overview
The 2026 Louisiana Watermelon Festival 5k event offers a great challenge to local runners and walkers. This course is a fast first mile downhill followed by what we like to affectionately call Watermelon Mountain at mile 2.

- Registration Opens: 6:30 AM
- Location: Parking lot in front of Farmerville First Baptist Church, 403 N. Main St., Farmerville, LA 71241.
- Race Start Time: 7:30 AM
Awards
Awards will be given for the following age groups:
- Categories: Male and Female
- Overall Awards: 1st Overall and 1st Overall Masters
- Age Group Awards: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place for ages: 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over
Registration Details
- Online Registration Closes: July 25th at 4 PM
- Race Day Registration Fee: $40
- Prohibited: Roller blades and skates on the racecourse.
