Bruin 5K and Fun Run

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

• Date: Saturday, October 11, 2025
• Distance: 5k and 1 mile fun run
• Community Participation: This event is open to the community. You do not have to be a BPS staff or student to participate.
• Location: Custer Stadium, Bartlesville High School (Shawnee Avenue, Bartlesville OK 74006)

🗓️ Registration Details

• Deadline: Register by September 19th to be guaranteed a shirt.
• Pricing: $35 Early Registration: $30 Fun Run Early Registration.
• Packet Pick-up: Early Packet Pick up on Wednesday, October 8th – 4:30 - 7:00 p.m. at BHS Agriculture Building on Shawnee Avenue.
• Race Day Registration: Available but does not guarantee a shirt.

🏆 Schedule and Race Day

• Race Day Registration: 8:00-8:30 a.m.
• 5k Start: 9:00 a.m.
• 1-Mile Fun Run Start: 9:05 a.m.
• Awards: Medals for the top three male/female in standard age groups in the 5k.

💖 Beneficiary Information

• Proceeds: Benefits Bruins on the Run (an after school running and mentoring program for 5th graders).
• Foundation Support: Benefits the Bartlesville Public Schools Foundation.
• Covered Costs: The BPS Foundation covers the costs of programs for students including registrations, new running shoes, and t-shirts.
• Community Involvement: Bruins on the Run will participate along with a large number of Bartlesville Public Schools staff: community is encouraged to cheer!

🌟 Donations

• Tax Deductible: Donations made to the Bartlesville Public Schools Foundation are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
• Community Support: Encouragement for the community to come out and run or cheer on participants.
