Death by 5k is headed to Vegas, baby

Can you survive the Death by 5k Challenge?

Ten 5ks in 24 hours.

Race Details

• Start Time: The first 5k starts at 8 am and subsequent 5ks start every 2.5 hours.
• 5k Start Times: 8 am, 10:30 am, 1 pm, 3:30 pm, 6 pm, 8:30 pm, 11 pm, 1:30 am, 4 am, 6:30 am.
• Final Completion: The final 5k must be completed by 8 am on Sunday.
• Location: The Vegas edition of DB5k will take place at Henderson's beautiful Cornerstone Park.

Course Information

The 5k course will be the same for each 5k and will be a loop with a short out and back spur, all on paved trails.

Meals and Snacks

• Hot Meals: There will be 5 meals, each including hot food, served over the course of the event.
• Meal Times: 8:30 am, 1:30 pm, 6:30 pm, 11:30 pm, and 4:20 am.
• Snack Food: There will be plenty of snack food throughout the event also.

Registration Information

• Race Shirt: Registrants will receive a great tri-blend race shirt along with race swag.
• Finisher's Reward: Finishers will receive the coveted custom finisher's coffin.
• Hydration: There will be no on-course aid station, so runners will want to carry a handheld or other hydration equipment.
• Tent Setup: Participants will be allowed to set up tents in the big green space near the start/finish.

Participant Limits

Initially, we will have 200 spots open for registration. After those 200 fill up, anyone wishing to register will be placed on the waitlist. However, this is not guaranteed, so don’t wait to get signed up!

Additional Information

Death by 5k takes place in Mississippi, Arkansas, Alabama, Iowa, Tennessee, Florida, New Mexico, Oregon, Oklahoma, and Texas. More venues will be scheduled in 2026.
