🏃♂️ The 2024 Market Street ‘Run for Blue’
The 5th annual 5-mile Market Street “Run for Blue" will be held on a Sunday in October (Date to Be Announced in May). You can run OR walk in-person this year or complete the event virtually. BOTH options are available. The choice is yours!
📍 Race Course and Brief History
- Registration: Register at www.marketstreetrun.org
- Cost: $40 until July 7, includes a long-sleeve running shirt
- Route: From Old City to 30th Street Station
🌟 Purpose of the Event
- Fundraising: Supports the Philadelphia Police Foundation
- Community Relations: Positive public relations opportunity
- Awareness: Raises awareness about the Foundation's work
🗺️ Location
The race starts at Front and Dock Streets and ends at 2nd and Market with a Street Festival.
🎽 Bib/Shirt Pick Up
- For in-person participants: Pick up at Old City Marriott
- Virtual participants: Shirts mailed in mid-late October
🏅 Award Ceremony
- Overall Awards: Top 3 Male and Female
- Age Group Awards: Recognized in different brackets
🎉 Amenities
All participants get a Market Street 'Run for Blue' shirt and a Finisher Medal!
🎵 Post-Race Celebration
Police displays, coffee, pastries, live music, and more!
