A 5K Run/Walk to help bring awareness and raise funds for continued research for PCOS.

🩺 What is PCOS?

• Disorder Type: A serious genetic, hormone, metabolic and reproductive disorder that affects women and girls.
• Infertility: It is the leading cause of female infertility.
• Health Risks: A precursor for other serious conditions including obesity, type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease and endometrial cancer.
• Prevalence: Polycystic Ovary Syndrome affects 1 in 10 women.

🔍 Diagnosis Issues

• Undiagnosed Cases: 50-70% of women with PCOS are going undiagnosed.
• Misdiagnosis: Many women are misdiagnosed.
