Walk Across Sumner 5k and Fun Run

Join us for the Walk Across Sumner 5k and 1 mile Fun Run! Let's light up the night! New this year, we are using glow sticks and blacklights to bring more fun to the race.

• Location: Triple Creek Park at the big pavilion near the soccer fields
• Fundraising: Proceeds support Physical Education programs in Sumner County

🚶‍♂️ Walk Across Sumner Program

Walk Across Sumner is a county-wide plan that includes a 4 week walking program (complete with a closing celebration). Participants in the Walk Across Sumner program are encouraged to walk 34.5 miles (the distance across Sumner County -- corner to corner) either in their own neighborhoods or by hitting local greenways and walking trails at parks throughout the county during the month before the 5k.

🎉 Participation Options

New this year, you have the option to participate in the 4-week walking program by completing an Activity BINGO game or a WAS Walking Log. These can be turned in at the Gallatin Health Department or in-person on race day (October 18th).

• Activities: Complete an Activity BINGO game or a WAS Walking Log
• Submission: Turn in at the Gallatin Health Department or on race day
• Prize Drawing: A completed BINGO Sheet or Walking Log enters you into a prize drawing
