About this race
Event Overview
Join the River City Runners & Walkers Club as we host our 6th annual Broughton 5 Mile Trail Race at the Broughton Nature Park in Marietta, OH!
Course Details
- Type: A true trail race taking advantage of beautiful wooded trails.
- Starting Point: Begins at the Broughton Complex near the bike path.
- Course Description: Starts with the Orange Loop going uphill, merges with the Red Loop for a full 5 mile loop back to the start line.
- Terrain: Challenging with levels off after the first mile. Properly marked with water stations at 1 mile and 2.5 mile marks.
Event Schedule
- Packet Pick-Up: Begins at the pavilion near the start line at 7:00 AM.
- Race Start: The race begins at 9:00 AM.
- Time Limit: 2-1/2 hour time limit for the course.
- Awards: Given to top 3 male and top 3 female finishers, and top 2 in each 10-year age group in walk and run.
Participation Details
Runners and walkers will begin at 9:00 AM.
