Join us for the inaugural Run for Rescue 3K benefiting the Montgomery County Animal Shelter!

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 2025 at 7:00PM at EASY WALKER PARK in MT. STERLING

🌟 Event Purpose

The Run for Rescue 3K Run/Walk event serves as a community-driven fundraising event to support the Montgomery County Animal Shelter’s ongoing mission to provide compassionate care to homeless animals. The primary financial objective of the event is to offset the spay and neutering costs for animals in the shelter’s care.

🎉 Race Features

• Scenic Course: Scenic paved course at Easy Walker Park (3K/1.86 miles)
• Commemorative T-Shirts: Commemorative race T-Shirts (Unisex short sleeved sizes S, M, L, XL and 2XL) - cut off date for guaranteed shirt 8/14. Extras first come, first serve.
• Kid's Dash: FREE Kid's Dash (9 and under) - No shirt, kids receive a participation medal
• Free Photos: Free Race Photos (Thanks Ruby Cline-Eaton)
• Awards: Awards for Top 3 M/F and Age Groups (5 year divisions)
• Participation: Runners, walkers, dogs on fixed length leash and strollers welcomed
• Food & Drinks: Drinks provided by Blooming Nutrition, Kona Ice (For purchase)
• Adoption Opportunity: Adoptable pets at the race!
• Virtual Option: Virtual Option for those who can't attend in person ($25)
• Snacks: Drinks and Snacks (Ale 8, bottled water, Gatorade, bananas/granolas)
• Raffle: Raffle with prizes
