2026 Acadia Half Marathon and 10K

Event Overview

Join us for the 2026 Acadia Half Marathon and 10K on June 7, 2026, at 21 Park Street, Bar Harbor, ME. Experience a breathtaking run with views of Acadia National Park and Maine’s rocky coastline.

Course Details

• Distance: A spectacular 13.1 mile course traveling on the scenic Acadia National Park Loop road.
• Location: Mount Desert Island, the third largest island on the eastern seaboard.
• Area: 41,000 acres of land devoted to the Northeast’s only National Park, Acadia.
• Scenery: An amazing array of mountains and sea, cliffs and coastline.

Packet Pickup Information

There is NO RACE DAY packet pickup.

Sustainability Commitment

• Environmental Focus: The Mount Desert Island YMCA is committed to environmentally conscious and sustainable racing.
• Waste Reduction: We generate a large amount of waste with paper cups, over 6000 cups per race!
• Future Plans: Steps are being taken to move to "cupless" events in the coming years.
• Participant Action: We encourage participants to bring their own reusable cup, handheld water bottle or hydration pack.

We will still have paper cups at all 6 water stations this year, but with your help we can start reducing our waste and impact on our sensitive environment. Thank you for helping us protect and maintain the natural beauty of Acadia National Park!
