5K for Peace – Join Us in Moving for Justice!

Lace up your shoes and join the 5K for Peace on October 10, 2026, as we walk and run together through the beautiful squares of historic downtown Savannah, Georgia. This community event welcomes people of all ages and abilities to stand together for compassion, dignity, and hope.

Proceeds Benefiting Rooted Ummah

• Nonprofit: Proceeds benefit Rooted Ummah, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting unhoused neighbors, refugees, immigrants, and displaced communities—locally and beyond.
• Services: Rooted Ummah provides meals, supplies, day center services in Savannah, and resources for families rebuilding their lives after displacement.

• Note: There will be no road closings or traffic interruptions for this event.

Race Schedule

• Full 5K: Start Time: 9:00 AM, Start/Finish Line: Forsyth Park Bandshell
• Family 1 Mile: Start Time: 9:20 AM, Start/Finish Line: Forsyth Park Bandshell
• Post-Event Gathering: Music, food, vendors, and community organizations.
