Race Overview

• Event: 6th Annual WIT 5K Run/Walk

Purpose of the Event

• Organizer: Women In Training, Inc. (WIT), a nonprofit focused on youth empowerment.
• Mission: To end period poverty through education and supplies.
• Goal: Raise funds for #WITKITS, providing menstrual and hygiene supplies.
• Impact: Support underserved girls with essential resources.

Events Offered

• WIT 5K: A timed 3.1-mile run/walk starting at 9:00 a.m. All participants receive a unique WIT 5K t-shirt.
• WIT Fun Walk: A 1-mile walk starting at 10:00 a.m.
• Virtual Option: Participate remotely: your shirt, bib, and medal will be mailed to you.
• Registration: Register by November 10, 2025, to guarantee a t-shirt in your size.

Fundraising Cause

• Focus: Fundraising for the WITKITS Campaign to provide menstrual products.
• Problem: One in four girls/women struggle to afford period products.
• Consequence: Many resort to unsafe alternatives that jeopardize their health.
• Achievements: Over 50,000 WITKITS distributed since July 2019.

Packet Pickup

• Date & Time: November 21, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
• Location: Montgomery Whitewater, available on race day as well.
• Race Day Pickup: From 8:00 to 8:45 a.m. on November 22, 2025.

Awards

• 5K Participants: Each participant receives a participant medal.
• In-Person Winners: Overall male and female winners receive trophies: age group winners get medals.
• Overall Winners: Awards for top 3 males and females.
• Age Groups: Awards for the top 3 in various age categories.
