Adam Downer Memorial Suicide Awareness 5K

🌟 Event Overview

Join us for the Suicide Awareness 5K on the beautiful campus of Salish Kootenai College in Pablo, Montana. This community walk/run brings people together to raise awareness, honor those we've lost to suicide, and support mental health and healing across all generations.

📍 Race Details

• Date: September 27, 2025
• Location: 58138 US Highway 93, Pablo, MT
• Route: The 5K route begins in the SKC Nursing Building parking lot and then winds through SKC’s scenic campus, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Flathead Reservation, and ends back in the Nursing building's parking lot.

🛍️ Community Support

A variety of community mental health services will be present as vendors on-site. Participants of all ages and fitness levels are welcome—whether you run, walk, or simply show up in support, your presence makes a difference.

🍔 Food and Activities

• Time: Stop by from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
• Food Truck: Enjoy a smash burger from the R-Cantina food truck
• Presentation: Watch a short presentation of your community resources
• Support: Show your support!

❤️ Proceeds and Purpose

Proceeds and donations will support local mental health initiatives and suicide prevention efforts in Native communities and beyond. Together, we walk in hope, remembrance, and solidarity.
