The 46th Annual Jack Gamble Melon Run is a July 4th Gainesville tradition! This three-mile run hosted by the Florida Track Club is as much a part of the Fourth of July as BBQ and Fireworks. Age-group winners receive a watermelon!

- Course: Enjoy the rolling hills of the course
- Awards: Age-group winners receive watermelon
- Activities: Kids 1/2 mile run, watermelon eating contest
- Post-Race: Refreshments served to all runners

📍 Event Location
The race starts at 8:00 AM at Albert "Ray" Massey Westside Park, 1001 NW 34th Street, Gainesville, FL 32605. Park in the large parking lot on the west side of the park.
🎽 Bib Pick-up
Bib pick-up starts at 7 AM on race day near the finish line at Westside Park. Race day registration is online only.
UF Health Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Institute and UCAN Energy Gels sponsor the Florida Track Club.
