Race Description
- Fun Event: Join us for the annual Queen City Trick or Trot 5K/10K & Kids Monster Mile.
- Championship: The Trick or Trot 10K serves as the UP 10K Championship.
- Bonus Points: Participation adds 10 BONUS points for the 2026 Run The UP Challenge Race Series.
- Participant Perks: All 5K & 10K participants receive a medal, custom socks, and free gelato from Provisions MQT.
Course Information
- Start Location: Begins on the 100 block of Washington Street in front of Yoop-phoria, Digs, and Richardson Jewelers.
- Course Route: Participants race down Washington Street, cross Front Street, past Iron Bay Restaurant, and more.
- 5K Turnaround: Indicated with signage before the Carp River Bridge.
- 10K Turnaround: Located before the Michigan Welcome Center, with an Aid Station.
Kids Monster Mile
- Starting Point: Begins on the bike path in front of Thill's Parking Lot at the Old Ore Dock.
- Route: Heads north on the bike path, turning around after entering Lower Harbor Park.
- Participants: Will receive a Monster Mile medal.
- About the Event: A perfect Halloween-themed activity for kids!
Packet Pick-Up
- Thursday, 10/29: 2pm - 8pm
- Friday, 10/30: 9am - 8pm
- Saturday, 10/31: 9am - 11:30am
- Important: All bibs MUST be picked up by 11:30am.
Awards and Prizes
- No Post Race Party: Due to Halloween, winners can collect prizes near the timing booth.
- Age Group Awards: Given for 5K and 10K events.
- Costume Contest: Prizes for best costume in individual and pair categories.
- Individual Prizes: Gift certificates available from QCRC for top participants.
Age Group Awards
- Kids Monster Mile: Male & Female 12 and Under (1st, 2nd, 3rd place).
- 10K: Male & Female Winner in each age bracket (10 and under to 70+).
- 5K: Male & Female Winner in each age bracket (10 and under to 70+).
- Proceeds: Will benefit JJ Packs.
