🎃 Queen City Trick or Trot Race Overview

Looking for some spooky Halloween fun? Join us for the 10th annual Queen City Trick or Trot 5K/10K & Kids Monster Mile on Saturday, October 25th. The Trick or Trot 10K also serves as the UP 10K Championship and participation adds 10 BONUS points to your point total for racers who have signed up for the 2025 Run The UP Challenge Race Series.

• Medals: All Participants in the 5K & 10K will receive a Medal.
• Giveaways: Participants will receive giveaways from Donckers and Provisions MQT.
• Monster Mile: Participants will receive a giveaway from Provisions MQT & a Monster Mile medal!
• Beneficiaries: Proceeds from this race will benefit JJPacks and the Negaunee High School Athletics Booster Club.

🗺️ Race Course Details

NEW THIS YEAR! The course will begin on the 100 block of Washington Street, right in front of Yoop-Phoria, Digs and Richardson Jewelers! Participants will race down Washington Street, crossing Front Street and running past Iron Bay Restaurant & Drinkery, taking a left onto Lakeshore Blvd and gradually making their way onto the bike path prior to hitting Main Street.

• 5K Turnaround: Will be indicated with signage and located before the Carp River Bridge.
• 10K Turnaround: Located on the bike path before the Michigan Welcome Center and indicated by an Aid Station.
• Finish Line: Both races will finish on the bike path between Spring Street and Baraga Avenue.
• Kids Monster Mile Start: Will begin on the bike path in front of Thill's Parking Lot that coincides with the Old Ore Dock, heading north.

🏅 Awards and Post-Race Celebration

The post-race party and awards ceremony will be held at Ore Dock Brewing Company from 4:30-6:00pm. The overall Male and Female Winners in the 5K and 10K will receive a FREE pair of shoes from QCRC, and there will also be age group awards for both events!

• Costume Contest: Halloween is everyone's excuse to dress up! Be sure to get your most creative Halloween costume out for a chance to win a prize.
• Individual Awards: 1st place: $50 Gift Certificate to QCRC, 2nd place: $25 Gift Certificate to QCRC, 3rd Place: $10 Gift Certificate to QCRC.
• Pair Awards: 1st place: $50 Gift Certificate to QCRC, 2nd place: $25 Gift Certificate to QCRC, 3rd place: $10 Gift Certificate to QCRC.

🏆 Age Group Awards

Age Group awards will be as follows:

• Kids Monster Mile: Male & Female 12 and Under (1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place)
• 10K: Male & Female Winner in each age bracket (10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+)
• 5K: Male & Female Winner in each age bracket (10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+)
• Awards Ceremony: The awards ceremony will begin at 5:00pm.
