Race Details

• Spooky Fun: Join us for the annual Queen City Trick or Trot 5K/10K & Kids Monster Mile.
• Championship: The Trick or Trot 10K serves as the UP 10K Championship.
• Bonus Points: Participation adds 10 BONUS points for the 2026 Run The UP Challenge Race Series.
• Finisher Medals: All participants in the 5K & 10K will receive a medal and a giveaway.

Course Information

• Start Location: The course begins on the 100 block of Washington Street, in front of Yoop-phoria, Digs, and Richardson Jewelers.
• Route Details: Participants will race down Washington Street, crossing Front Street, and past Iron Bay Restaurant & Drinkery.
• Bike Path: Runners will head South on the bike path towards Harvey with designated turnaround points.
• Finish Line: Both races will finish on the bike path between Spring Street and Baraga Avenue.

Kids Monster Mile

• Start Point: Begins on the bike path in front of Thill's Parking Lot, coinciding with the Old Ore Dock.
• Northbound Route: Participants will head north on the bike path.
• Turnaround: Turnaround occurs just after the entrance to Lower Harbor Park.
• Medals: Kids Monster Mile participants will receive a Monster Mile medal.

Packet Pick Up

• Date: Thursday, 10/29 from 2 PM to 8 PM.
• Date: Friday, 10/30 from 9 AM to 8 PM.
• Date: Saturday, 10/31 from 9 AM to 11:30 AM.
• Important: All bibs MUST be picked up by 11:30 AM.

Awards and Prizes

• No Post Race Party: Due to Halloween, no post-race party will be held.
• Age Group Winners: Those who win their age group can collect their prize near the timing booth.
• Overall Winners: Male and Female winners in the 5K and 10K will receive a FREE pair of shoes from QCRC.
• Costume Contest: Participants are encouraged to dress up for a chance to win prizes.

Costume Contest Details

• Individual Prizes: 1st place: $50 Gift Certificate to QCRC, 2nd place: $25 Gift Certificate to QCRC, 3rd place: $10 Gift Certificate to QCRC.
• Pairs Prizes: 1st place: $50 Gift Certificate to QCRC, 2nd place: $25 Gift Certificate to QCRC, 3rd place: $10 Gift Certificate to QCRC.
• Encouragement: Halloween is everyone's excuse to dress up!

Age Group Awards

• Kids Monster Mile: Awards for Male & Female (12 and Under, 1st, 2nd, 3rd place).
• 10K Awards: Male & Female Winner in each age bracket (10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+).
• 5K Awards: Male & Female Winner in each age bracket (10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+).
• Donation: Proceeds from this event will be donated to JJ Packs.
