🎃 Welcome to the Queen City Trick or Trot

Looking for some spooky Halloween fun? Join us for the 10th annual Queen City Trick or Trot 5K/10K & Kids Monster Mile on Saturday, October 25th. The Trick or Trot 10K also serves as the UP 10K Championship and participation adds 10 BONUS points to your point total for racers who have signed up for the 2025 Run The UP Challenge Race Series.

• Participants will receive: A Medal, a giveaway from Donckers, and a giveaway from Provisions MQT for 5K & 10K.
• Monster Mile rewards: A giveaway from Provisions MQT & a Monster Mile medal.
• Beneficiaries: Proceeds will benefit JJPacks and the Negaunee High School Athletics Booster Club.

🏃‍♂️ Race Course Details

NEW THIS YEAR! The course will begin on the 100 block of Washington Street, right in front of Yoop-Phoria, Digs and Richardson Jewelers! Participants will race down Washington Street, take a right on Front Street and a left onto Spring Street.

• 5K turnaround: Indicated with signage before the Carp River Bridge.
• 10K turnaround: Located on the bike path before the Michigan Welcome Center and indicated by an Aid Station.
• Finish line: Both races will finish on the bike path between Spring Street and Baraga Avenue.

👻 Kids Monster Mile

The Kids Monster Mile will begin on the bike path (In front of the Thill's Parking Lot that coincides with the Old Ore Dock), and will head north on the bike path, turning around just after the entrance to lower harbor park.

🎉 Post Race Celebrations

The post race party and awards ceremony will be held at Ore Dock Brewing Company from 4:30-6pm. The overall Male and Female Winners in the 5K and 10K will receive a FREE pair of shoes from QCRC. There will also be age group awards for both events! Halloween is everyone's excuse to dress up! Be sure to get your most creative Halloween costume out for a chance to win a prize in our famous costume contest!

• Costume contest prizes: Individual and pair categories.
• Individual prizes: 1st place $50, 2nd place $25, 3rd place $10 Gift Certificates to QCRC.
• Pairs prizes: 1st place $50, 2nd place $25 gift certificate, 3rd place $10 Gift Certificates to QCRC.

🏆 Awards Information

Age Group awards will be as follows:

• Kids Monster Mile: 12 and Under (1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place).
• 10K Awards: Winner in each age bracket (10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+).
• 5K Awards: Winner in each age bracket (10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+).
• Awards ceremony: Will begin at 5:00pm.
