Run Walk to Remember 5K / 10K / Fun Run

Event Overview

This great 5K/10K/ Fun Run benefits PruittCares - Camp Cocoon, which is a bereavement camp for children ages 6-17.

Purpose of the Event

• Goal: The camp offers the children a safe environment to talk about their loved ones.
• Support: Children can ask counselors and medical professionals any questions they may have.
• Activities: The camp allows children to let loose and enjoy normal summer camp activities.
• Opportunity: Our hope is that this event can provide a similar opportunity to adults in the community.

Community Engagement

• Honor: Participants can wear something to honor a loved one that has passed away.
• Connect: It’s a chance to talk to others who might have gone through similar experiences.
• Gathering: A chance to get together with friends and neighbors.
• Competition: Compete on a fast course, set a new PR, or just run or walk for a good cause.

Support for Camp Cocoon

• Proceeds: All proceeds will go to offsetting the cost of the camp.
• Sponsorship: Funds will sponsor children to attend Camp Cocoon at no cost.
