Event Overview

This great 5K/10K/ Fun Run benefits PruittCares - Camp Cocoon, which is a bereavement camp for children ages 6-17.

About the Camp

• Purpose: The camp offers the children a safe environment to talk about their loved ones.
• Support: Children can ask counselors and medical professionals any questions they may have.
• Activities: The camp allows children to let loose and enjoy normal summer camp activities.
• Community Impact: Our hope is that this event can provide that same opportunity to adults in the community.

Event Goals

• Honor Loved Ones: A chance to wear something to honor a loved one that has passed away.
• Connect: Talk to others who might have gone through similar experiences.
• Community Engagement: Get together with friends and neighbors for a good cause.
• Personal Achievement: Compete on a fast course, set a new PR, or just run or walk to raise money.

Contributions

All proceeds will go to offsetting the cost of the camp and sponsoring children to attend Camp Cocoon at no cost.
