Run/Walk for Heart-Safe Communities!

📍 Race Details

• Course: This fast, flat and shady course is perfect for first-timers and runners who are reaching for a PR!
• Events: We also have a 1-mile walk, kids races, and virtual 5K and walk options.
• Awards: Medals awarded for the teams (the fastest and the most fundraising-est), place winners from each age category, and every child who crosses the finish line in the Kids Races.
• Cash Prizes: Top male and female runners overall win $50 cash.

⏱️ Timing & Registration

• Chip-Timed: The 5K race is chip-timed, and all runners and 1 mile walkers will receive bibs.
• Timing Services: Bryn Mawr Race Management will be providing chip-timing services for runners.
• Results: Runner results will be posted immediately on a flat-screen and online.
• Student & Senior Discounts: Registration for the 5K is only $25 for runners between ages 5-22 and 65-103, and $15 for the 1 Mile Walk for Students and Seniors.

👕 T-Shirt & Pricing Information

• Free T-Shirt: Free T-shirt with registration through June 30th. After June 30th, shirts will be available for purchase with your registration ticket either online or at the race.
• Early Bird Discount: Save another $5 with the Early Bird discount through June 30th! The discount price will be reflected at checkout.
• Registration Deadline: Registration is open until Friday, September 12th.
• Race Day Pricing: Race day registration prices increase $5 per participant for the 5K and 1 Mile Walk.

• Parking: Please note: Park in the municipal parking lots at Planet Fitness and Kerr Park and walk to the trailhead, also known as Kardon Park or The Ponds, near the Victims Memorial.
• Address: The address is: 215-369 E Pennsylvania Ave, Downingtown, PA 19335
• Team Fundraising: When you register, create a team or your own fundraising page! Building teams and reaching out to your family and friends to support your fundraising page are a force multiplier for our 5K event.
• Event Fees: Registration prices cover our event fees: we count on donations and sponsorships to actually raise funds for our foundation's programming.

📅 Event Schedule

• 8:00 am: Check-in and Race Day Registration opens
• 9am: Opening Ceremony
• 9:15 am: 5K start
• 9:20 am: 1 Mile Family Walk starts
• 10am: Kids Races
• 10:20 am: Closing Ceremonies

🐾 Additional Notes

• Please, no dogs for this event.
• Strollers are permitted for 1 Mile Family Walk but not for the 5K Run due to limited space on the trail.
