Race Description
The First Annual Augusta Turkey Trot – Trot It Like It’s Hot!
Beneficiary
100% of race proceeds will go to benefit Ignite Augusta. Ignite Augusta is a non-profit created to provide a drive through light display in Garvin Park of Augusta, KS.
Course Regulations
- Prohibited Items: Bicycles
- Prohibited Items: Roller Skates/Blades
- Prohibited Items: Skateboards
- Prohibited Items: Animals
- Prohibited Items: Segways
Race Details
- Timing: The race is chip timed, so your time will start when you cross the starting line.
- T-Shirt: Included with registration.
- Wear your bib: Be sure to wear your bib on your chest on the outermost layer of clothing to ensure the most accurate time possible.
- Safety: Please run safely, listen to the directions of course marshals and police, thank the volunteers, and have fun!
Course Information
The course will be marked with directional arrows and cones at the turns. There will be volunteers along the course. At the finish, be sure to smile, cheer for yourself and everyone around you, and enjoy the morning! There will be a photographer at the finish line to capture your accomplishment.

GoAugusta! will also be hosting their annual Cookie Crawl at 10am so be sure to stick around and enjoy the treats and fun!

- Ages: 55 and up: men and women group
- Ages: 41 to 54: men and women group
- Ages: 19 to 40: men and women group
- Ages: 18 and Under: men and women group
- Fun Run: 1 Mile fun run: top 3 overall medals
