🏃‍♀️ Race Overview

Ladies, join us on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at 9AM at the Ferry Field Track in Ann Arbor, MI for the fourth annual Women’s Ferry Field 5K!

🎯 Event Background

• Origin: Three years ago, a group of runners decided they wanted to collectively train to break 19:00 in the 5K.
• Experience: This group wanted to create a college-like experience by holding the time trial on a track.
• Community: The event gathered interest and many others of the same caliber had nostalgia for a track 5K.
• Opportunity: We started the Women’s Ferry Field 5K to create an opportunity for women to reach a time goal while supporting each other.

🌈 Event Details

• No Competition: No official podium, no first place prizes, no finishing gear: just personal accomplishment.
• Focus: There is no theme this year: just come out for an opportunity to work hard towards your individual goal.
• Environment: Enjoy a special and friendly but competitive racing atmosphere.
• Extra Gear: Being in this environment has been known to help turn on that extra gear!

🤝 Celebrating Community

What we would like for everyone to remember is that we need to celebrate each other, our individual years of hard work, our trials and tribulations, our camaraderie, and this special group that has continued to grow in friendship.

Since this is a smaller race and we cap the number of participants, please only sign up if you plan to join us or let us know if you need to drop so we can plan accordingly and give someone else the spot!
