Join us as we celebrate 150 years of Jacksboro with a 1.5-mile Fun Run in downtown Jacksboro on Saturday, September 27th!

Event Details

• Date: September 27, 2025
• Location: 126 E. Belknap, Jacksboro, TX
• Host: Faith Community Hospital
• Type: Family-friendly Fun Run

Course Overview

• Start: The Fun Run kicks off at the corner by the Police Station.
• Route: Heads east down Belknap Street before transitioning onto the scenic Fort Richardson State Park Trail.
• Optional Loop: Crosses the spillway, offering stunning views of Lake Jacksboro.
• Historic Trail: Follow the path past historic markers and watch for local wildlife.

Final Stretch

• Transition: A ramp will guide runners out of the Park into the Concerned Citizens parking lot.
• Roadway: Transition back onto the roadway for the final stretch.
• Direction: Follow East Pine Street west for a few blocks.
• Finish Line: Turn north onto South Church Street, where the finish line comes into view!

Important Notes

• Course Type: This course includes a mix of pavement and trail surfaces.
• Registration Deadline: Event Sway Registration must be completed by Tuesday, September 23rd.
• Swag Availability: Registration completed after September 23rd may have limited Event Swag and not guaranteed on Race Day.
