Hosted by 605 Running Company, the Skedaddle brings runners, families, volunteers, and spectators together for an unforgettable spring race weekend. Whether you are chasing a personal best, completing your first half marathon, or simply soaking up the finish-line excitement, there is a place for you at the Skedaddle.

The Skedaddle is a point-to-point half marathon that carries runners across Sioux Falls before finishing amid the energy and excitement of downtown.

Participants can look forward to:

Pace teams supporting a wide range of finish times
High-quality, limited-quantity participant swag
Professional race timing and live results
On-course hydration and fuel
A lively finish-line celebration at Fawick Park

Whether this is your first 13.1-mile finish or your next opportunity to set a personal record, the Skedaddle is ready to welcome you.

Half Marathon Pace Teams
We plan to offer pace groups for the following finish times:

1:30 | 1:40 | 1:50 | 2:00 | 2:10 | 2:20 | 2:30 | 2:40 | 2:50

Final pace-team availability will be confirmed closer to race day.

Zippy Mile: Superhero Edition
Sunday, May 16, 2027
Start Time: 10:00 AM
Start: Near Cherry Rock Park
Finish: At the Skedaddle finish line in Fawick Park

The Zippy Mile is a family-friendly, one-mile run and walk for participants of all ages and abilities. Superhero costumes are encouraged, and the morning will include a costume contest, finish-line heroes, milk and cookies, and plenty of opportunities for photos.

Participant shirts and finisher medals will be available while supplies last.

The Zippy Mile gives kids, families, and runners of every level an opportunity to experience the excitement of crossing the Skedaddle finish line.

Race Weekend
Skedaddle weekend begins on Saturday, May 15, with packet pickup and additional race-weekend activities at 605 Running Company Downtown.

More information about the weekend schedule—including packet pickup, the shakeout run, race transportation, parking, course support, participant tracking, finish-line festivities, and volunteer opportunities—will be released as race day approaches.

Participants should watch their email for official race communications and follow @run605 on Facebook and Instagram for announcements.

Awards
Half marathon awards will recognize the top three overall male and female finishers, along with the leading male and female runners in the following age groups:

19 and under
20–29
30–39
40–49
50–59
60 and over
Zippy Mile awards will recognize the first overall male and female finishers.

Complete award details and ceremony information will be announced closer to race day.

Participant Swag
Skedaddle participant swag is produced in limited quantities. Register early for the best opportunity to receive your preferred size.

Specific participant items and deadlines will be announced as race weekend approaches.

Registration Policies
All registrations are final.
There is no virtual race option.
Registration insurance may be available during checkout.
Deferrals, transfers, waitlist opportunities, and insurance claims must be managed through the participant’s RunSignup account and are subject to the options available for the event.
Participant items and shirt sizes are not guaranteed after published deadlines or once quantities are exhausted.

Spring weather in South Dakota can change quickly. The Skedaddle is scheduled to take place rain or shine, but participant safety will always guide event-day decisions.
