About the Louisville Turkey Trot

• Event Purpose: The 12th Annual AdventHealth Avista Louisville Turkey Trot was created as a means to collect food and donations for our local food bank, Community Food Share and to create an incredible community event to celebrate the holiday and spend time with our loved ones in an active, joyful manner.
• Public Benefit: As the event grew, the Louisville Turkey Trot became a public benefit corporation, which is a corporation created to generate social and public good, and to operate in a responsible and sustainable manner.

• Date: November 27, 2025
• Race Start: 9:00 a.m.
• Address: Front Street and Spruce Street (951 Spruce Street, Louisville, CO 80027)

Do I Need to Register?!

• Registration Requirement: Yes! Your entry and any other food donation go to support Community Food Share, whose mission is to eliminate hunger in Boulder and Broomfield Counties through engagement, collaboration, and leadership.
• Impact: For every $1 donated, Community Food Share can provide $6 worth of groceries!
• Last Year's Contribution: Last year’s race raised more than $76,000 for Community Food Share and we hope to raise even more this year!
• Entry Fee: While our race began as a free event for the first few years, we decided to charge an entry fee to be donated!

Access and Costs

• Affordability: Our race entries are half of most races with early entry pricing as low as half of the race day entry.
• Cost Management: We keep costs low by eliminating bibs, t-shirts, and chip timing.
• Complimentary Refreshments: A huge thank you to our partners, we do offer complimentary coffee and hot chocolate for all.
• 21+: Local beers, NA beers and hard ciders for those 21+ (with ID) will also be available.

Pre-Race Activities

• Stretching: Join us before the race in the parking lot of Louisville Public Library for mindfulness stretching by our partner, Soul Tree Yoga!

Course Details

• Course Start: The start is at Front Street and Pine Street.
• Course Finish: The finish is on South Street and Front Street.
• Parking: Parking is free in Downtown Louisville, but please be courteous to local businesses and residents.

Post Race Celebrations

• Entertainment: Join us after the race for fantastic music and free refreshments.
• Beverage Options: Refreshments include craft beers, non-alcoholic beer, hard ciders (21+, ID required and race entry), and coffee.
• Partnership Appreciation: Thank you to our wonderful partners for allowing us to provide your favorite beverages!

Packet Pick-Up

• No Packet Pick-Up: There isn’t one! This is a non-competitive fun run put on as a fundraiser for Community Food Share.
• Timing: We don’t have bibs or chip timing: there will be a clock at the finish line.
• Event Nature: This event is a philanthropic community supported function.

Strollers & Dogs

• Strollers: Strollers are welcome (No need to register the child in the stroller).
• Dog Policy: Unfortunately, no Dogs are allowed at the Louisville Turkey Trot per our insurance policy.

Late Registration

• Open Registration: Registration for the event will remain open throughout the weekend, so please register.
• QR Codes: There will be QR codes at the event to register if you don’t get the chance ahead of time.
