Lancaster Turkey Day 5k

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Start your Thanksgiving celebration by running the Lancaster Turkey Day 5k with hundreds of your closest friends. Get your body moving with this Thanksgiving morning tradition, fire up your metabolism for the upcoming feasts, and help support the Foundation Dinners as they continue to serve the community on Lancaster's west side, a tradition they have faithfully maintained for over 30 years. Ages 13 and under race free (unless they want a shirt and a bib).

🍽️ Foundation Dinners

The Foundation Dinners serves over 2500 meals a month enlisting the aid of over 200 volunteers from Lancaster and Fairfield County churches, organizations, businesses and industries. Foundation Dinners provides an opportunity for these volunteers to contribute to the needs of many poverty-stricken families and individuals in our community, as well as becoming part of the broadcast system which informs the local area of the presence of hunger and homelessness amongst us.

💰 Early Race Registration Fees

• Ages 11 & over: $35 - Includes race bib
• Ages 10 & under: $25 - Includes race bib

Prices increase by $5 on November 1st and again on November 20th.

👕 Shirt Information

Register by 1pm on November 17th to be guaranteed a long sleeve shirt/hooded sweatshirt in your preferred size, after November 17 shirts may be available in a different color/design than what is shown.

Shirts may still be available in your preferred size after November 17 (if your size is available online) as the shirt order inventory has been entered into the registration system.

Thanksgiving morning
Opens at 7:15am
Early packet pickup is recommended to help reduce race day lines.

⏰ Race Start Time

Kids Run starts at 8:15. 5k Starts at 8:30am.

🍏 Post Race

After the race, enjoy refreshments, fruit and snacks!

🏅 Awards and Age Group Information

Awards in the form of medals and Thanksgiving desserts will go to the top 3 male and female overall winners. Top 3 males and females in the following age groups will receive medals:

• 10 & under
• 11-15
• 16-19
• 20-29
• 30-39
• 40-49
• 50-59
• 60-69
• 70 & Over

Parking is available at Forest Rose School and at Ohio University Lancaster.
