The Tim Kennard River Run returns on March 1, 2026!

Salisbury Bible Fellowship (1500 Court Plaza Ln) has again kindly provided their support and their facility for the race start and finish. They are located right on the course and are committing to making race day a day of service for their church!

About the Race

The Tim Kennard River Run is dedicated to Timothy Kennard, who passed away on March 11, 2004, after a courageous battle against kidney cancer. This run/walk is in his honor, with proceeds going to help children and animals. This year, the proceeds will benefit:

• Team 360: Helps people of different abilities train and participate in mainstream athletic events.
• Coalition of Caring: Supports our animal friends in need, including medical needs and adoption costs.
• Eastern Shore Running Club: Scholarship Fund for aspiring runners.

• Name: 21st annual Tim Kennard 10 Miler & 5k Run/Walk in Salisbury, Maryland.
• Date: Sunday, March 1, 2026.
• Time: 8:30 am start.

This run/walk is in honor of Timothy Kennard, with proceeds directed towards supporting children and animals.

Participation Information

• Hosted By: City of Salisbury & Salisbury Bible Fellowship.
• Timing: Seashore Strider Event Production Inc.
• Entry Fee:
  • 5k Run/Walk: $30 through 2/1/26: $35 from 2/2/26 through race-week: $40 race-day.
  • 10 Miler: $60 through 2/1/26: $65 from 2/2/26 through race-week: $70 race-day.

Course and Timing

• Course: Beautiful course through the City of Salisbury, MD: USATF Certified.
• Timing System: Chronotrack chip timing system.
• Amenities: Long sleeve T-shirts, awards, and post-race celebration.
• Parking: Plenty of parking available at the Salisbury Bible Fellowship Church.

Race Rules

• Time Limit: 10 mile time limit of 2:30: 15 minutes per mile pace.
• Awards: Custom awards for overall categories and age groups.
• Director: Harlan Eagle and Linda Mills: contact via email for inquiries.
• Water Stops: Every 2 miles in the 10 miler, with additional stops in the 5k event.

Packet Pickup Information

• Saturday, February 28, 2026: Packet pickup from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm at Evo Public House, 201 East Vine St, Salisbury, MD 21801.
• Race Day Pickup: Sunday, March 1, 2026, from 7:00 - 8:00 am at the race start/finish area.

Last Chance Registration

• Race-Day Registration: Available from 7-8 a.m. at Salisbury Bible Fellowship Church, 1500 Court Plaza Ln, Salisbury, MD 21801.

Safety Notice

To ensure runner safety, the following are prohibited on the 10-mile course:

• Unregistered runners.
• Bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades.
• Baby joggers and dogs (only allowed in the 5k event).
