BRRC 43rd St. Paddy’s Five Miler

Race Overview

Come and race, ye lads and lasses! The 2026 BRRC 43rd St. Paddy's 5 Miler will be a jig of a time. By popular demand, the St. Paddy's 5 Miler is back again at Spokane Community College on March 8, 2026. The same out & back route as last year 2025. This is an official qualifying race for 2nd SEEDING at BLOOMSDAY 2026. Qualifying times: Women 37:00 and Men 31:00.

Event Highlights

• Free Event: At 10:30 am there will be a FREE "Lucky Leprechaun Jig" for kids 6 years old and under. All runners in the Leprechaun Jig will receive a Ribbon.
• Awards Ceremony: At 11:00 am there will be an Awards ceremony: Overall Male & Female, Masters (40+) Top Male & Female. Top 3 Male & Female in age groups 0-10, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+.
• Prize Drawings: At 11:15 am there will be prize drawings including a $250 cash prize plus other prizes. MUST be present to WIN!

Normal Registration

• Cost: $35 registration with unisex shirt through February 20th ($3 extra for 2XL & 3XL)
• Run Only: $20 for run only with no shirt option
• After Feb 20: $20 after February 20th with NO Shirt option, must be received by March 6th or at SCC on Race Day
• Day of Race: $30 Day of Race Registration NO SHIRT
• Mail-in Entries: All Mail-in entries must be received by February 20th to receive a shirt or March 6th with no shirt.

Leprechaun Jig Registration

• Free Event: Event is free for the Lucky Leprechaun Jig for those 6 years old and younger.
• Youth Shirts: Youth shirts can be ordered separately for $13 through February 20th.
• Mail-in Entries: All Mail-in entries must be received by February 20th to receive a shirt or March 6th with no shirt.

Packet Pickup

• Date: Saturday, March 7, 2026 from 10-2:00 PM at MUV Fitness, 14927 E. Sprague
• Day of Race: Sunday, March 8th, 2026 day of race, at 8:00 am at SCC.

The Start

• Facilities: Rest rooms provided in the gymnasium building.
• Gun Start: The race will offer a gun start at 9:00 am.
• Kids' Event: Kids, 6 years and under, can run the Lucky Leprechaun Jig (approx. 50 meters) that will start at 10:30 am.

The Finish

• Hydration: There will be water at the finish line and at the turn around.
• Awards: Top Male and Female, Top Masters (40+) Male and Female awards.
• Age Group Awards: Top 3 in Age Groups Male & Female: 0-10, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+.
• Prize Drawings: Stay around for $250 Cash Prize plus other drawings at 11:15 am. Must be present to WIN!
