Join us in supporting Julie’s Pink Warrior Project at the JOSC race series bonus race, the Miles for Mammos 5k on Saturday, October 17, 2026!
Mission
- Support: Julie's Pink Warrior Project provides free screening mammograms to the uninsured and underinsured in our community.
- Funding: Money raised from this race goes directly to funding those free mammograms.
Race Details
- Date & Time: October 17, 2026, at 9 AM.
- Location: Jacksonville Commons, 100 Recreation Lane, Jacksonville, NC.
- Course: A flat, fast course perfect for walkers and runners of all ages and abilities: stroller friendly.
- Water Station: Hydration available around the halfway point.
Participants
- Finishers Medal: Every participant receives a finishers medal.
- Post-Race Snacks: Refuel with delicious snacks after crossing the finish line.
- Celebratory Photo: Don’t forget to take a celebratory photo and tag us in it!
Registration Information
- Pricing: 5K-Early Bird Pricing $25 until January 1, 2026: $35 until Oct 1, 2026: $40 Oct 1 through 17, 2026.
- Kids 5 & Under: Free (no shirt/medal: shirt and medal add on for $10.00).
- Virtual Run: Early Bird Pricing $25 until January 1, 2026: $35 through October 17, 2026 (includes medal).
- Discount: OMH Employees and their families receive a discounted rate with discount code.
New Features
- Furry Friends: Bring your dog and donate $5.00 for a bandana, courtesy of our partners at CureChief.
- Leash Required: All dogs must remain on a leash.
Packet Pickup
Race packet pickup will be announced closer to the event.
Beneficiary
All proceeds from our Miles for Mammos 5K benefit Julie's Pink Warrior Project, which provides free screening mammograms to individuals in Onslow County that are under insured or uninsured.
