Sustainable Glasgow's 5th Annual Homegrown 5k

Event Overview

Race Details

• Chip-timed: New for this year, we will have a chip-timed race with age group awards.
• Participation: Joggers and walkers are welcome!
• Course: The race will begin at the new Farmer's Market facility and meander on an out-and-back course.
• Finish: Ends back at the Farmer's Market: course closes at 8:30 am.

Packet Pickup

• Pre-race: Friday evening before the race at First Christian Church from 5-7 pm.
• Location: Main entrance (back lot) of First Christian Church, 1100 N. Race St.
• Day of event: Registration and packet pick-up opens at 6:00-7:00 am at the Farmer's Market.
• T-shirt: Please register early to ensure you get a shirt on race day.

Additional Information

• Farmer's Market: This event will coincide with the return of the Bounty of the Barrens Farmers' Market.
• Shopping and food: Stick around for great shopping and food!

• Deadline: To guarantee a t-shirt in your size, please register before April 1st.
• Age Groups: 9-under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65+.
• Restrooms: Restrooms will be available.
