The Village of Norridge would love for you to join us for our 2nd annual 5K Reindeer Run and Kids Dash!

Thank you to all of our registrants who helped make last year's inaugural race such a wonderful success. We are thrilled to bring you the 2nd annual race on Saturday December 5, 2026.

Event Details

• 5K Run/Walk: The 5K run/walk will be chip-timed. We welcome everyone, runners and walkers!
• Kids Dash: The Kids Dash will be a 1/4 mile untimed fun run, for ages 10 and under.
• Activities: In addition to the 5K and Kids Dash, there will be a DJ, face painting, a photo booth, a selfie station, free hot chocolate, and... Santa!
• Location: The race begins and ends in the parking lot at the corner of N Ozanam Ave and W Montrose Ave. Address: 7740 W Montrose Ave, Norridge, IL 60706

Registration Dates and Information

• Registration: You can register anytime, including in-person on race day. You will receive reindeer antlers and jingle bells for your racing shoes in your packets, and a finisher's medal once you cross the finish line!
• Incentives: If you register by Friday November 13, you will also get your choice of a t-shirt or a winter hat! After this date, items are available only while supplies last.
• Optional Purchases: We are also offering winter hats and thermal mugs as optional add-on purchases (winter hats must be purchased online by November 13)!

Pricing

The price for the 5K will increase throughout the year, as outlined here:

• Early Bird Special: May 1, 2026, 12:00am CDT - May 14, 2026, 11:59pm CDT: $25
• Regular Pricing: May 15, 2026, 12:00am CDT - July 9, 2026, 11:59pm CDT: $30
• Increased Pricing: July 10, 2026, 12:00am CDT - September 17, 2026, 11:59pm CDT: $35
• Final Pricing: September 18, 2026, 12:00am CDT - November 26, 2026, 11:59pm CST: $40
• Late Registration: November 27, 2026, 12:00am CST - December 4, 2026, 11:59pm CST: $45
• Race Day: December 5, 2026, 12:00am CST - December 5, 2026, 11:00am CST: $50

The price for the Kids Dash is $25, and will not change.

Race Day Schedule

• Packet Pick-up: Begins at 8:30 am
• Kids Dash: Begins at 9:30 am
• 5K Reindeer Run: Begins at 10 am

Swag for All Registrants

• Reindeer Antlers: All registrants will receive reindeer antler headbands and jingle bells for your racing shoes. Wear them during the race for an extra jolly time!
• Finisher's Medal: All registrants will receive a Finisher's Medal once you cross the finish line!
• T-shirt or Winter Hat: Your choice of a t-shirt or winter hat is guaranteed for all registrations received by Friday November 13, 2026.
• Additional Options: Winter hats can also be purchased for $15 as an extra add-on during online registration, only by Friday November 13.

Parking

The race begins and ends in the parking lot at the corner of N Ozanam Ave and W Montrose Ave. Address: 7740 W Montrose Ave, Norridge, IL 60706

Parking is available:

• Rear Parking Lot: In the rear parking lot on the north side of the property, accessible from W Sunnyside Ave
• Street Parking: Street parking along both W Montrose Ave and N Ozanam Ave

Packet Pick-Up

Packets will be available for pick-up either:

• The day before the race:
  • Location: The lobby of Norridge Village Hall, 4000 N Olcott Ave, Norridge, IL 60706
  • Time: 10 am to 5 pm
  • Parking: Available either in the parking lot attached to the back of Village Hall, or anywhere on the streets
• OR on race day: starting at 8:30 am, at the race location.

We will send you an email the Monday before the race with a QR code to bring with you to packet pick-up. This can help expedite check-in, though it is NOT required for check-in!

We will not be able to mail packets: they must be picked up in person either the day before or the day of the race.
