The Village of Norridge 5K Reindeer Run and Kids Dash

🎄 Race Overview

The Village of Norridge would love for you to join us for our 1st annual 5K Reindeer Run and Kids Dash!

• 5K Event: The 5K will be chip-timed.
• Kids Dash: The Kids Dash will be a 1/4 mile untimed fun run, for ages 10 and under!
• Location: The races begin and end in the parking lot of the old church, now Village of Norridge property, at the corner of N Ozanam Ave and W Montrose Ave. (Address: 7740 W Montrose Ave, Norridge, IL US 60706)

🗓️ Registration Dates

You can register anytime, even on race day, and will receive reindeer antlers and jingle bells for your racing shoes!

• T-Shirt Guarantee: A t-shirt is only guaranteed with registration up until Friday November 21.
• Post Deadline: After that, t-shirts will be given out only while supplies last.

⏰ Race Day Schedule

• Check-In: Check-In begins at 8:30 am
• Kids Dash: Kids Dash begins at 9:30 am
• 5K Event: 5K Reindeer Run begins at 10 am

🎁 Swag

• Extended T-Shirt Guarantee: Extended to Friday, November 21! For registrations received after November 21, t-shirts are not guaranteed and will be while supplies last.
• All Participants: All participants will receive reindeer antler headbands and jingle bells for your racing shoes. Wear them during the race for an extra jolly time!
• Award Categories: Age group awards will be given to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place Male and Female finishers in various categories.
• Kids Dash Finisher's Medal: Additionally, ALL Kids Dash participants will receive a finisher's medal!

🚗 Parking

The races begin and end in the parking lot of the old church, now Village of Norridge property. Parking is available:

• Rear Parking Lot: In the rear parking lot behind the old church, accessible from W Sunnyside Ave
• Street Parking: Street parking along both W Montrose Ave and N Ozanam Ave

📦 Packet Pick-Up

Packets will be available for pick-up either:

• Day Before the Race:
  • Location: The lobby in Norridge Village Hall, 4000 N Olcott Ave, Norridge, IL 60706
  • Time: 10 am to 5 pm
  • Parking: Available in the parking lot attached to the back of Village Hall, or anywhere on the streets
• Race Day: Starting at 8:30 am, at the race location

We will send you an email the Monday before the race (Monday, December 1, 2025) with a QR code to bring with you to packet pick-up. This can help expedite check-in, though it is NOT required for check-in!

Important: We will not be able to mail packets: they must be picked up in person either the day before or the day of the race.
