Saturday, January 17th

The Adventure Trek

  • Start Time: 12pm Mass Start
  • Description: The festival kicks off with a 2-hour score orienteering Adventure Trek.
  • Location: Takes place in the vast flatlands northeast of Buttes Pass.
  • Course Setter: Chris Day

Sunday, January 18th

The Classic

  • Start Time: Starts 10am-11:30am
  • Competition: Traditional 7-course classic orienteering competition.
  • Course Options: Beginners can stick to the basic White course or attempt Yellow or Orange competitions.
  • Course Setter: Matej Sebo

The Night Goat

  • Start Time: 5pm Mass Start
  • Adventure: A modified format extending our Goat, Borrego, and Beginner mass start tradition.
  • Experience: Participants may face the dark desert alone to complete this point-to-point course.
  • Course Setter: Mark Prior

Monday, January 19th

The Maze Middle

  • Start Time: Starts 9am-11am
  • Description: Navigate the slot canyons and steep slopes of the iconic "Maze" in a middle distance 7-course competition.
  • Challenge: Short distances with high complexity and numerous route options.
  • Course Setter: Julien Ouellet
