About this race
Event Updates
Following the unfortunate closure of Silvertown Baptist Church last year, we are thrilled to announce that the Christmas Lane 5K tradition will continue. Thanks to the generous support of the City of Thomaston, this year’s race will take place just across the street from The Greatest Generation Memorial Park, utilizing the same excellent course. All pre- and post-race activities will be hosted at the park pavilion, located just a short walk from the traditional start/finish line in front of the church. Additionally, we are proud to share that the course is now officially USATF-certified, making it an official Peachtree Road Race qualifier.
Race Overview
- Unique Experience: If you are looking for a unique 5k run/walk this year, THIS IS IT!
- Christmas Lane: Every December since the 1970's, residents on "Christmas Lane/R street" in Thomaston, GA transform their homes and yards into a magical wonderland.

- Beneficiary: Proceeds of the race will benefit the Thomaston-Upson Chamber of Commerce.
