About this race

Event Updates

Following the unfortunate closure of Silvertown Baptist Church last year, we are thrilled to announce that the Christmas Lane 5K tradition will continue. Thanks to the generous support of the City of Thomaston, this year’s race will take place just across the street from The Greatest Generation Memorial Park, utilizing the same excellent course. All pre- and post-race activities will be hosted at the park pavilion, located just a short walk from the traditional start/finish line in front of the church. Additionally, we are proud to share that the course is now officially USATF-certified, making it an official Peachtree Road Race qualifier.

Race Overview

Unique Experience: If you are looking for a unique 5k run/walk this year, THIS IS IT!
Christmas Lane: Every December since the 1970's, residents on "Christmas Lane/R street" in Thomaston, GA transform their homes and yards into a magical wonderland.
Scenic Route: Participants will begin and finish in front of the old Silvertown Baptist church and travel down Christmas Lane as well as go through the Greatest Generation Park.
Beneficiary: Proceeds of the race will benefit the Thomaston-Upson Chamber of Commerce.

Race Day Registration

We will have race day registration from 3:00-5:00 pm. If you register race day, you will have to check after the race to see if we have any extra shirts.

Student Discount

Eligibility: We are offering a student discount for all students age 11-18.
Discount Code: Please use code Student20 at checkout for a 20% discount!

Children's Registration

Registration Fee: Children 10 and under will have a $30 registration option, not to be combined with the student discount code.
Discount Code: Use code Child30 for children 10 and under.

Awards

Top 3 male and female overall awards will be given as well as top male and female masters awards and top 3 male and female in each age group. Age groups will be 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+.
