Race Distances &: Awards

All finishers in every distance receive a medal and shirt!

• Kids Dash: 50-meter untimed dash (Ages 10 & under) with inclusion of race tee, medal, and exclusive recognition pin.
• 1 Mile Fun Run: For all ages and experience levels (untimed)
• 5K: 3.11 miles - Chip timed
• Quarter Marathon: 6.55 miles - Chip timed
• Half Marathon: 13.1 miles - Chip timed

Standard Age Group Awards

Applicable for 5K, Quarter Marathon, and Half Marathon:

• 1st Overall Male & Female: Bigfoot Trophy
• 1st Masters (40+): Male & Female - Recognition Pin
• Top 3: In each age group receive Gold, Silver, and Bronze pins

Event Schedule

• 5:30 AM – 6:45 AM: Packet Pickup
• 6:50 AM: Costume Contest
• 6:55 AM: Kids Dash
• 7:00 AM: National Anthem & Race Start

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer Then Run

Join us in action and run the 5K! Limited to first 5 sign-ups only.

• Benefits: Chip-timed bib, t-shirt, and finisher medal
• Schedule: Arrive 1.5 hours early, run the 5K, help with post-race awards

Full Race Volunteer

Perfect for those who want to help but not run.

Volunteer Roles

• Water Station: Keep cups filled and cheer on runners!
• Course Monitors: Direct runners and cheer them on!
• Finish Line Helper: Assist with medals and refreshments!
• Turtle / Sweeper: Support the final participant!

Course & Experience

All races are held on scenic local park and greenbelt trails—mostly paved with some crushed granite and dirt sections. Aid stations will be available throughout the course to keep you hydrated and supported.

Important Notes

• Shirt Guarantee: 10 days before race day.
• Weather: Races proceed rain or shine, hot or cold.
• Packet Pickup: Opens 1.5 hours before race start.
• Course Surface: Expect mixed surfaces (pavement, crushed granite, dirt paths).
