Beach to Beer 5K & 10K

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Good Day for a Run Returns to Colonial Beach for their 9th Annual COLONIAL BEACH TO BEER 10K/5K Races and 1 Mile Walk.

This Race Proudly Supports BAMM.

🌊 Race Features

• Scenic Route: Scenic 5K and 10K Race along the Potomac of Colonial Beach.
• Timing: Chip-timing, Live-streamed Results, and Awards.
• Awards: 5K and 10K Awards are for top 3 Overall and Top 3 per Age Group: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, and every 10 years.
• Start Times: The Course is Flat and Fast! 10K Starts at 9 AM. 5K Starts at 9:05 AM.

Walkers and children are welcome to participate in the 5K or 1 Mile Walk. Registration is required for safety: 5K Walkers start at 9:05 AM behind the runners. 1 Hour Time Limit for 5K.

• 1 Mile Walk: 1 Mile Walk option available for all ages and starts at 9:08 AM. (Non-timed)

👕 Included in Your Race

• Local Beer: Colonial Beach Brewing & Ice House Brewery will be onsite with local craft beer options available.
• Tech Shirt: High-quality tech shirt included or upgrade to Long Sleeve for $6 extra. Register by Oct. 4 to guarantee your first choice.
• Custom Beer Glass: ALL Participants receive a Beach to Beer Custom Beer Glass.
• Refreshments: Water Stations on Course and at Finish Line, Complimentary Snack at Finish Chute, Free Parking, Free Downloadable Photos.

🎉 After-Party Fun

• Live Music: Live music by Spike Burton Music performing until Noon.
• Beer Garden: Enjoy cold Craft Beer at the post-race Beer Garden - presented by Colonial Beach Brewing and Ice House Brewery. Non-alcohol options available too.
• Food Truck: On-Site Food Truck available.
• Lawn Games: Various lawn games for the entire family or for you and your friends.
• Chairs: Please bring your own beach chairs or blankets to hang out after in the beautiful waterfront park!
• Strollers: Strollers are permitted.
• Weather Policy: Race is rain or shine. No refunds or deferrals.

📅 Packet Pickup

Packet pick-up on race day from 7:30-8:30 AM at "Good Day for a Run" tent at Town Hill. Late arrivals may pick up swag: however, they will not be able to start the race after 9:05 AM for the safety of all runners.

Second PPU date TBD will be posted and emailed.
