Beach to Beer 5K & 10K

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Good Day for a Run Returns to Colonial Beach, VA for their 8th Annual COLONIAL BEACH TO BEER 10K/5K Races and 1 Mile Walk.

This Race Proudly Supports BAMM.

🥇 Race Features

• Scenic Route: 5K and 10K Race along the Potomac of Colonial Beach.
• Technology: Chip-timing, Live-streamed Results, and Awards.
• Awards: 5K and 10K Awards are for top 3 Overall and Top 3 per Age Groups Under 14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, and each decade.
• Course Details: The Course is Flat and Fast! 10K Starts at 9 AM. 5K Starts at 9:05 AM.
• Walk Options: 5K Walkers and all ages welcome to participate, need to be registered, and start on time behind runners at 9:05 AM.
• Mile Walk: 1 Mile Walk option available for all ages and starts at 9:08 AM. (Non-timed) Please register by Oct. 6 to guarantee receiving a shirt for 1 Milers.

• Local Breweries: Colonial Beach Brewing & Ice House Brewery will be onsite providing local craft beer options.
• Event Shirt: Quality event shirt included or upgrade to Long Sleeve for $6 extra. Women's cut, Adult/Men's, and Youth options.
• Custom Beer Glass: ALL Participants receive a Beach to Beer Custom Beer Glass.
• Refreshments: Water Stations on Course and at Finish Line, along with a Complimentary Snack at Finish Chute.
• Parking: Free Parking available.
• Photos: Free Downloadable Photos offered.

🎉 After-Party Fun

• Live Music: Enjoy music by Spike Burton Music performing until Noon.
• Beer Garden: Enjoy cold Craft Beer at the post race Beer Garden - presented by Colonial Beach Brewing and Ice House Brewery.
• Food Options: On-Site Food Truck available.
• Family Activities: Various lawn games for the entire family or for you and your friends.
• Relaxation: Please bring your own beach chairs or blankets to hang out after in the beautiful water-front park!
• Stroller Friendly: Strollers are permitted.
• Weather Policy: Race is rain or shine. No refunds or deferrals.
• Packet Pick-Up: On race day from 7:30-8:30 AM at "Good Day for a Run" tent at Town Hill.
