Good Day for a Run Returns to Colonial Beach, VA for their 8th Annual COLONIAL BEACH TO BEER 10K/5K Races and 1 Mile Walk.

🏅 Race Features

• Scenic Course: Scenic 5K and 10K Race along the Potomac of Colonial Beach.
• Timing & Awards: Chip-timing, Live-streamed Results, and Awards.
• Age Group Awards: 5K and 10K Awards are for top 3 Overall and Top 3 per Age Groups Under 14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, and each decade.
• Start Times: The Course is Flat and Fast! 10K Starts at 9 AM. 5K Starts at 9:05 AM.

👟 Participation Details

• Walker Inclusion: 5K Walkers and all ages welcome to participate, need to be registered, and start on time behind runners at 9:05 AM.
• 1 Mile Walk: 1 Mile Walk option available for all ages and starts at 9:08 AM. (Non-timed) Please register by Oct. 6 to guarantee receiving a shirt for 1 Milers. Many extras ordered and available while supplies last after Oct. 6.

🍺 Event Amenities

• Local Craft Beer: Colonial Beach Brewing & Ice House Brewery will be onsite with local craft beer options available.
• Event Shirt: Quality event shirt included or upgrade to Long Sleeve for $6 extra. Women's cut, Adult/Men's, and Youth options. Please register by Oct. 6 to guarantee your first choice.
• Custom Beer Glass: ALL Participants receive a Beach to Beer Custom Beer Glass.
• Hydration Stations: Water Stations on Course and at Finish Line.

🎉 After-Party Fun

• Live Music: Live music by Spike Burton Music performing until Noon.
• Beer Garden: Enjoy cold Craft Beer at the post-race Beer Garden - presented by Colonial Beach Brewing and Ice House Brewery. Non-alcohol options available too.
• Food Truck: On-Site Food Truck.
• Lawn Games: Various lawn games for the entire family or for you and your friends.

🪑 Additional Information

• Bring Your Own Chair: Please bring your own beach chairs or blankets to hang out after in the beautiful waterfront park!
• Strollers Allowed: Strollers are permitted.
• Weather Policy: Race is rain or shine. No refunds or deferrals.
• Packet Pickup: Packet pick-up on race day from 7:30-8:30 AM at "Good Day for a Run" tent at Town Hill.
