This year marks the 8th Annual COLONIAL BEACH TO BEER 10K/5K Races and 1 Mile Walk in Colonial Beach, VA.

✨ RACES FEATURE
- Scenic Course: 5K and 10K Race along the Potomac of Colonial Beach.
- Race Timing: Chip-timing, Live-streamed Results, and Awards.
- Awards: Top 3 Overall and Top 3 per Age Groups Under 14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, and each decade.
- Starting Times: 10K Starts at 9 AM. 5K Starts at 9:05 AM.
👣 Walkers Welcome
- Participation: 5K Walkers of all ages welcome to participate, need to be registered, and start on time behind runners at 9:05 AM.
- 1 Mile Walk: Available for all ages starting at 9:08 AM. (Non-timed)
- Shirts: Register by Oct. 6 to guarantee receiving a shirt for 1 Milers. Many extras ordered and available while supplies last after Oct. 6.
🍻 RACES INCLUDE
- Local Craft Beer: Colonial Beach Brewing & Ice House Brewery will be onsite providing local craft beer options.
- Event Shirt: Quality event shirt included or upgrade to Long Sleeve for $6 extra. Women's cut, Adult/Men's, and Youth options.
- Custom Beer Glass: ALL Participants receive a Beach to Beer Custom Beer Glass.
- Facilities: Water Stations on Course and at Finish Line.
- Snacks: Complimentary Snack at Finish Chute.
- Parking: Free Parking available.
- Photos: Free Downloadable Photos.
🎉 AFTER-PARTY FUN
- Live Music: Enjoy music by Spike Burton Music performing until Noon.
- Beer Garden: Cold Craft Beer at the post-race Beer Garden - presented by Colonial Beach Brewing and Ice House Brewery. Non-alcohol options available too.
- Food Truck: Delicious options from an on-site food truck.
- Lawn Games: Various lawn games for the entire family or friends.
- Relaxation: Bring your own beach chairs or blankets to enjoy the beautiful waterfront park!
- Accessibility: Strollers are permitted.
- Weather Policy: Race is rain or shine. No refunds or deferrals.
- Packet Pick-Up: On race day from 7:30-8:30 AM at "Good Day for a Run" tent at Town Hill.
