Annual Race: 2nd ANNUAL 5K & 8K brought to you by Good Day for a Run, LLC!
Experience: More than a race.....a fun, unique, well-marked off-road course, excellent swag, and a relaxing after-party!
Purpose: Great Time for families, friends, and running groups to enjoy friendly competition, outdoor fun, and memories to last a lifetime!

🏞️ The Run

Course Options: Choose one of 2 scenic courses: 8K starts at 9:00 AM: 5K starts at 9:05 AM.
Trail Type: Well maintained (non technical) dirt trail through the 1000 acre farm that borders the Rappahannock River.
Timing: Chip-timed with awards for Top 3 Overall and Age Groups Male/Females (Under 20, 20-29, 30-39, every 10 yrs).

🎶 The Fun

Entertainment: Live Music at the post-race party.
Craft Beer: Available at the Tasting Room.
Beer Ticket: 1 Complimentary Beer ticket per runner (21+).
Food Trucks: 2 Food Trucks will be on site for tasty local food options!

🎽 The Amenities

Shirts: Upgraded Custom Tech shirt for all participants. Women's, Men's/Unisex, and Youth T-shirts, or upgrade to Women's Racerback Tank Top for $5 extra. Men's Tanks available for no added fee. *Please Register by Aug. 30 to guarantee your first choice. Many extras ordered and are available while supplies last for registrations after Aug. 30.
Pint Glass: Souvenir Pint Glass for all participants.
Photos: Free downloadable photos.
Parking: Free Parking on site.

ℹ️ More Race Info

All Ages: Fun for all ages and paces (*Time Limit is 1hr. and 40 Minutes for the 8K and 1 Hour for the 5K).
Participants: Walkers and children welcome in the 5K. Need to be registered to be on course for the safety of all participants.
Dogs: This is a dog friendly race - (Must be well behaved, leashed and start toward back).
Strollers: Permitted (May not be suitable for all strollers. Please note this is a trail course on packed dirt and some gravel).
Weather: Rain or Shine.
Refund Policy: No refunds or transfers.
Capacity: Race has a max capacity of 250 participants.

📆 Packet Pick-Up

Scheduled for Race day from 7:30 - 8:30 AM. Runners/walkers arrive by 8:30 to pick up bib and shirts. Late arrivals may not start course after 9:00 AM and 9:05 AM start times. Late arrivals can still pick up their swag.
